In 2018, I entered the University of Ilorin with:
๐ฏ UTME score of 342/400,
๐ฏ an O'Level result of 7 As and 2 Bs,
๐ฏ and a Post UTME score of 82%.
Starting with a CGPA of 5.0, I set my sights on excellence with one goal: to achieve an \"A\" in each course, one at a time.
\r\nWith resilience, perseverance, and dedication, I maintained a high CGPA while topping my department and faculty right from the first year till the final year, ultimately graduating with a CGPA of 4.96/5.0.
\r\nHere's a breakdown of how it all went:
\r\n1๏ธโฃ First Year: Completed with a CGPA of 5.0, marking a strong start.
\r\n2๏ธโฃ Second Year: Despite studying hard, I ended up with one B in a practical course. I learned that practicals weren't always in my control, so I focused on maximizing control over everything I could.
\r\n3๏ธโฃ Third Year: Achieved all A's in my core courses but received another B in a practical. I accepted that practicals might have their challenges, but my focus on other courses kept me on track.
\r\n4๏ธโฃ Fourth Year: Again, all A's except for a B in—you guessed it—practicals.
\r\n5๏ธโฃ By my final year, I was determined to test my hypothesis: if practicals were excluded, I could maintain a 5.0 GPA. With no practicals in the mix, I studied hard, took three extra lower-level courses, and earned A's in all my courses, including my project.
\r\nThis journey taught me a lot about resilience, and it came with achievements I'm incredibly grateful for:
\r\n๐ Awards & Recognitions
\r\n๐๏ธ University of Ilorin Scholar Award for five consecutive years
๐๏ธ Recognition among the top 30 reputable students in my department and top 60 in my faculty
๐๏ธ Best Graduating Student of
1. the Department of Computer Engineering
2. Faculty of Engineering & Technology in University of Ilorin, Nigeria with a CGPA of 4.96 on a 5.0 scale.

\r\nHere's to new beginnings and the opportunities that lie ahead!
